Gingersnaps is a fun, unique boutique for girls of all ages.  I, like most girls love to shop, and I especially like to shop for new and cute things.  Although I started out mainly just monogramming, I quickly found that going to market and finding cute stuff was just the icing on the already deliciously fun job. Believe it or not I started mongramming in an office in my parents hardware store, yeh, you read that right...

After finishing college I went to work in the family business, not too weird, huh?  After a couple of years of that, I was definately  needing a change.  My Mom knew someone that had an embroidery machine for sale, I was skeptical, but Mom knows best, right?  Well it turned out that she did, this time anyway.  So for about three years I monogrammed shirts, towels, a few bags, and a about a million fleece throws, mostly items customers brought in.  Suddenly  I wanted another change...  So Mom and I packed up and went to market.  Then I realized how much fun work could be.  So we took some warehouse space behind the hardware store and Gingersnaps was born.

Every year since we have added new lines and more warehouse space.  Yea, we're still in the hardware store.  So, if and when you call, don't be surprised if the phone is answered "Morton Home Center".  But when you visit either in person or online I hope you will be pleasantly suprised by both our store and our prices.  I have been so fortunate over the years to have met and gotten to know so many wonderful people and look forward to meeting many more.  Thank you for visiting and I hope to here from you soon.  Ginger
